Follow your passion. Empty words for most professionals, as “passion” often doesn’t pay the mortgage, a tab at a Michelin-rated restaurant or college tuition for your kids. But what if it could?
That’s the question we’re on a journey to answer with the launch of Brightly Creative, a new craft agency focused on delivering exceptional creative, content, strategies, public relations and marketing to the food and beverage industry.
For the last 12 years, my business partner Jonathan and I have spent a good portion of our lives first starting, and then building a successful recruitment marketing agency. We dabbled a bit in the food and beverage industry through various clients, but it was never the agency’s primary focus.
Today, that agency, The Arland Group, is successful, established and has a bright future. Jonathan and I are proud of what we helped build, but we also felt it was time for a new challenge.
We had noticed the personal satisfaction we derived from working with our food and beverage clients far exceeded anything else we were doing professionally. We also noted the results we were delivering to these clients exceeded their expectations.
Those two factors led us to launch Brightly Creative at the beginning of the year, and the eventual launch of this website and blog, which you’re reading now.
So that’s the origin story. The “Forward” of Brightly Creative. There’s much more of the story to tell, and we will be doing just that through this blog. We’ll also be writing quite a bit about the food and beverage industry, our favorite recipes and restaurants, and stories about our lives.
We’re excited about this journey. We’ve got the passion, creativity, strategic vision, team and great clients to build an agency from.
